notes:

- some crackling/brickwalling due to a hot board feed and increasing volume.
- the occasional static on the vocals is not a case of clipping because the levels never
  exceeded 0db during transfer, so i guess the signal from the board was just a bit too hot
  for the old d8's line in. i'll use an attenuator next time. ;)
